There's a rich and varied assortment of cabin rugs to choose from! You can find just about any design and material to suit your taste.

While cabin, cottage, or lodge living is (in my opinion) not suited to wall-to-wall carpeting - area or scatter rugs on wood, tile, or slate floors offer the perfect alternative. They provide comfort and color while performing a useful function.

Area rugs can define a living area and pull the colors in the room together in a pleasing way.

A rug or mat in front of the fireplace says "come here and relax with me." Just don't put it close enough to risk catching fire!

Typically rustic or cabin rugs will be in warm shades - cranberry, red, dark green, moss, mustard, and taupe.

If you have a decor theme - such as bear or moose, you can pick up the theme in your rugs.

Larger rugs make a grand statement - smaller rugs are easy to maintain. You can vacuum both but you can also shake smaller rugs outdoors or beat them with an old fashioned carpet beater.
