Wine racks are important for just about everyone... whether you enjoy a glass yourself, or just want to keep a few bottles of vino on hand for your guests.

The nice thing is the variety of styles and materials that are available. A favorite of ours is a hanging wrought iron rack. We've seen great antler racks as well as beautiful wooden wine rack cabinets.

We have a small 6 bottle rack (photo right) and generally only take enough wine for each visit to our lodge. The temperature inside gets pretty warm during the summer, which of course is not the best thing for wine storage. We have realized though, that we can store wine downstairs where the temperature remains cool and pretty constant. On a hot summer's day there's nothing like retrieving a cool bottle of white from the cellar!

Ensure your wine remains out of direct sunlight and, if possible, is located in a cool location. Then find the wine rack that suites your style and decor!
